Hello Writers!

This blog post is all about you (as opposed to me).

Here's the agenda:

  1. Write Now YouTube show
  2. writing/publishing video series
  3. Facebook Group just for you!

First, I want to tell you about a new YouTube show that a couple of writers and I co-host. It's called Write Now and you're going to love it. We're several episodes in, having lots of fun with it, and learning as we go--which is pretty funny to watch. (And actually, my ego forces me to tell you that you should start watching at Episode 2. You can go back to the first episode after you love us. It was extremely glitchy and even I can't stomach watching it.)

The show's aim is to provide writers (YOU!) with information, education, and entertainment while bringing balance to your writing life.

Here's our intro video (Julie did a great job on it!):

Second, because I was having so much fun with the YouTube show, and because I was wanting to provide more content for writers and self-publishers, I am creating a BRAND NEW video series using my personal Writing/Publishing checklist as a guide. Each SHORT video will contain tips, tutorials, resources, and the like.

You can subscribe here. And here's me describing the project in a minute and a half!

(Man. These thumbnails on YouTube. Sheesh.)

Thirdly, I wanted a place online where I could post this kind of content, without annoying my lovely readers. (Some readers are writers, but not all.) So, I created a closed group on FB where I could point to writer events and opportunities, remind folks of the classes I teach, and post these rad new videos.

If you are a writer interested in free educational content and want to find a tribe of like-minded writers who will encourage you (and provide you a place to ask questions), you can join my Facebook group here--and please, help me come up with a new name for it.

I hope one of these three resources will bring you just what you need in your writerly life. Until next time, Writers, keep on keeping on!

Which one resonates most with you? Leave your response in the comments below. Thanks!
